Meditation

The path to a quiet mind.

Meditation is an ancient method of introspection and search of the ultimate. It is an advanced yoga practice, although today it is often separated from yoga. Meditation helps to take a distance from the contents of the mind, thoughts and the external world. You will learn to notice the "observer" who observes your thoughts and actions instead of identifying with them. The mind calms down when we don't cling to our thoughts, but let the thoughts flow. Come and go. At the same time, we learn to notice what is permanent and ultimately who we really are.

There are many meditation methods in today's world, but we only teach a few of them. We practice and teach so-called concentration meditation, i.e. attention is directed during the exercise to either physical sensations, parts of the body or breathing. In addition, we teach mantra meditation, which is one of the most important exercises in bhakti yoga. The sound vibration of mantras naturally attaches our mind to the mantra and at the same time the mantras cleanse and calm our entire being. Mantras can be repeated either out loud or silently in the mind.

Both Anni and Sumit guide the meditation.
